How long is a Cornerstone church worship service? In total, about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with preparing our thoughts and our hearts to encounter God.
What Our Worship looks like:
Drawing Near to God: a time to prepare our minds for worship. A meditation quote is provided for our focus and preparation.
Entering God’s Presence: a call to worship sets the tone and helps posture people’s hearts and minds to adore Him and encounter Him. A time of confession and silent prayer for cleansing.
God speaks to us through His word: This is the time where we hear directly from God By his word. The preaching is through whole books of the bible. The intent is to be faithful to the intent of the author and what He wants us to know.
Tithes and offerings: This is where we give back to Him who gave it to us first. The purpose is to equip us to be followers of Christ Jesus and experience His life -changing presence.
We profess our faith: This is a time where we corporately show our unity of scripture and consistency of the faith of Christ’s church through the centuries. The connection we share with others who hold to Scripture alone and the faith that comes from Gods written word alone.
Departing with the grace of God: We receive God’s blessing and strength for the upcoming week.
